The lastest free adventure is Runtex teaming up with Bucky & Bob with KVET as they embark on a fitness journey to change lives and participate in the Texas Round-up on April 25. What: Jack and Adam's shop ride led each week by Velossimo Racing team members. This is a friendly, social group ride that will focus on group riding and pace-line skills.
When: Meet at 8:15am and roll out at 8:30am
Where: Jack and Adams parking lot
Distance: 55-60 miles; 3 hours (there are options for those interested in turning back sooner)
Pace: Steady intermediate pace 18-20 plus mph headed out east of Austin. Mostly flat with some rolling hills and regrouping points.
Bonus: Finish up with breakfast tacos and coffee at Jack and Adam's!.

Real Ale Ride Training Series
• March 15th - 8:00 am - Austin Flyers Party Ride - Brushy Creek Park - Beginner friendly ride - 3 route distances to choose from, kids activities, free beer, food and Tiff's Treats after the ride. Triathlon training clinic at 11:30 including flat tire changing.
• April 19th - Hill Repeat Madness - Test your legs on Far West, Ladera Norte and Smokey Valley. Meet us in the Anderson High School parking lot at 9 am or at either Bicycle Sport Shop store at 8:30 am to ride over for hill repeats.
• May 2nd - Long Ride - This will be our final training ride gearing up to the Real Ale Ride on May 30th. Build up your endurance with this ride in south east Austin. Meet us at Bicycle Sport Shop on south Lamar at 8:30 am. There will be several route options so you can pick the one closest to the route you are doing at the Real Ale Ride.
• Monthly beginner biker clinics
• April 11th – Family Day at the Veloway. Mechanic does bike safety checks, kids get a free horn and safety comic book and we loan out helmets, tag-a-long bikes, child trailers and adult bikes for those who don't have them so they can give it a try. We may also have free cupcakes for everyone this year. We like to feed people.
• August -- Back-to-school Ice Cream Ride. We have an adult and a kids/families ride. Helmet giveaway to kids in need with the cooperation of the Austin Cycling Association.
