The Mental Health Association in Texas provides leadership to independent, local affiliates across Texas. Affiliates implement national initiatives on the local level and develop individual programs geared to the specific mental health needs of their communities. The Association also serves as state leader for the Texas Parents as Teachers program. Texas Parents as Teachers is an early childhood, parent education and family support program designed.
