Austin movie fans will soon get a chance to catch their favorite flicks at the newly renovated Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar.
FOX 7 got a sneak peek inside the theater, which was open for a friends and family event Wednesday afternoon.
The South Lamar location has been closed for renovations since early January 2013.The Drafthouse features a brand new lobby and nine auditoriums, three of which are completely new. The location's creative manager, John Smith, says Austinites will like what they see.
"It's awesome. This is an awesome place. There's nothing else like the Alamo Drafthouse and the things we do," Smith said.
