Phoenix firefighters hiked into Camelback Mountain after a 911 caller reported three hikers falling about 30 feet after their line snapped.  Phoenix Fire Department spokesman Mark Vanacore says two of the victims were unconscious, and a third person was stable when they first found them.

From SkyFOX video, rope appeared to be attached to bolts at the top of a large boulder. They possibly fell from that area.

The area and trail were closed for most of the day while police investigated what happened.
