Study: Playing video games is good for kids

A surprising new study found that playing video games can actually be good for kids, according to a report.

Researchers at Oxford found that for kids ages 10 to 15, an hour a day of playing video games can be good for them. It doesn't make them smarter, but simply happier.

Researchers found that kids who played for an hour were better adjusted and more satisfied with their lives. They also had fewer emotional and social issues.

However, this is not a case of, "if a little is good, more is better." The researchers clearly found that playing 3 or more hours a day of video games had definite negative effects.
