Sideline Allows Rugby Fans To Physically Follow Their Favorite Match-Ups

Posted: Updated:
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA -

An exciting new invention unveiled in Australia allows rugby fans to physically follow their favorite match-ups!

The Samsung-created seats, called The Slideliner, are set to run along the Sydney Olympic Stadium touchline on a set of rails.

The seats are controlled by an operator using a joystick. Each person will also receive a tablet screen to take pictures to post on social media sites.

"We've built our technology into the Slide Liner so you've got a tablet there that you can actually take photos, you can interact socially, we want people to tell the world about their experience, and they also get some stats and so forth about the game, what's going on. So, literally not only the best seat in the house up and down but the most connected seat as well."

The seats will also be tested at two other stadiums in Australia.
