Yavapai deputies arrest 2 men in luring case

COTTONWOOD, Ariz. - Deputies from the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office arrested two men they say were trying to lure teenagers.

According to deputies both men thought they were talking on a social media website with an teenage minor, it was actually an undercover YCSO deputy.

On July 14th authorities had both men meet them where both were arrested and booked into jail.

Authorities arrested 62 year-old Mark Maki of Mesa, he tried to meet the deputy posing as a teen in Cottonwood. He faces charges of luring a minor and was held on a $35,000 bond.

41 year-old Craig Boening of Gilbert, was arrested in Camp Verde. He faces charges of luring a minor for sexual exploitation, child prostitution, and sexual conduct of a minor, he was held on a $100,000 bond.
