7/18 Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Chicago)

Position: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports the company's overall recruitment strategy by working closely with job candidates, corporate recruiters, external recruitment agencies, hiring managers and other human resource professionals to faciliate and support the recruitment and hiring process.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Responsible for providing recruiting and administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team and internal clients from the Providence Corporate Development Holding Companies for exempt, non-exempt, temporary staff, as well as contractor and consultant resources

Conduct resume screens and preliminary phone interviews of job candidates, arrange travel for job candidates, schedule interviews and serve as a liaison between the recruiter, hiring manager and candidates

Proactively source and screen resumes for temporary and contract positions

Manage approved agency/vendor list and liaise with agency recruiters and hiring managers for temporary staffing needs

Create and administer offer and welcome letters for new employees

Manage and maintain the applicant tracking system and be responsible for the smooth operation of the recruitment process within the system

Serve as the first point of contact for general recruitment related inquiries and properly handle client requests through responsiveness, follow-up, and escalation

Required Skills

Understands all talent acquisition process activities and requisition management

Provides superior customer service

Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook and Excel

Extraordinarily organized, with effective time management skills

Able successfully accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously

Equipped with strong interpersonal skills

Has the ability to work in dynamic and constantly changing work environment

Proficient at prioritizing multiple projects while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive and personal information at all times.

Required Experience

Undergraduate degree preferred in business, human resources, marketing or related field

1-2 years experience in a corporate setting

Prior experience supporting a recruitment function a plus

Familiarity with an Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS) a plus
