VIDEO: Stranger buys diapers for struggling mom

(FOX NEWS) The video of a South Dakota woman paying for diapers for a cash-strapped young mother at Walmart Sunday night went viral after another shopper videotaped the random act of kindness.

Carol Flynn had just paid and was about to leave the Sioux Falls store when she overheard a young woman behind her asking the cashier to match the price on four boxes of diapers. The cashier was reportedly only able to match the price for one box, so the mother, Katie Kanefke, could not afford the purchase.

Flynn is videotaped stepping in and taking out her credit card to pay $120 for the items.

As of Thursday morning, the video has been liked nearly 30,000 times and shared more than 7,500 times.

Jason Yoshino, a wedding entertainer who posted the interaction on his Facebook page, wrote on the post: "My wife and I were speechless at this warm hearted and kind act of generosity. There are some amazing people in this world. What a way to end such a beautiful day to witness such an amazing act of kindness. To whomever the older lady that helped this young girl, I hope this finds you. Thank you and God bless you. #spreadthelove"
