A 20-year-old Austin man is charged with a felony after court records say he told police he injured his girlfriend's 10-month-old child while he was high on cocaine.
Michael McNairy is charged with injury to a child.
According to court documents, the 10-month-old boy was treated at Dell Children's Medical Center for fractures on both of his arms and legs, as well as multiple bruises.
The child's daycare told police the baby wasn't acting like he normally did.
Court documents say when police spoke with McNairy, he demonstrated on a doll how he held the child upside down by his leg.
Police say during a lie detector test, McNairy admitted to breaking the baby's arms and legs when he was doing cocaine.
