Paramedics and StarFlight rescued a man who fell nearly 75-feet off a cliff while working on his deck in West Travis County.

It happened 6:00 p.m. Saturday evening on the 3100 block of Brass Buttons Trial. According to Austin-Travis County EMS, crews had to scale down the side of the cliff to get to the man. StarFlight then lifted him to safety and flew him to UMC Brackenridge. He did suffer some injuries but is expected to make a full recovery.

Officials say the man in his 50's was working on his deck when he fell. Brush and debris prevented him from falling further down the side on the cliff.
