Steve Constantine with HEB Cooking Connection stopped by the FOX 7 studio to show us how to make Spicy Aloha Salmon Burgers with Pineapple & Poblano salsa.
Ingredients: 2 Poblano peppers, roasted, peeled & diced ½ cup pineapple, small dice ½ bottle Roberts Reserve Pineapple Mango Coconut Tequila Sauce 2 Bacon Cheddar Salmon Burgers 1 Tbsp of Adams Reserve Spicy Aloha seasoning, per burger 1 large spoonful of HEB homemade Guacamole, per burger 2 hamburger buns, cut in half Cilantro, for garnish
Directions: -In a medium bowl; mix roasted poblanos, pineapple, and Roberts reserve sauce together & set aside. -Then season salmon burgers with Adams rub, and cook on grill, sauté pan or in oven until burgers are cooked to your liking (aprox 7-8 mins). -Place guacamole on burger bun, then top with cilantro, next the salmon burger and finish with the homemade poblano pineapple sauce! -Serve with Central Market Sweet Potato Chips and Enjoy!
