Justin Bieber is being investigated in connection with a reported attempted robbery. It's the troubled star's latest brush with the law and the incident is over a cell phone.

Bieber allegedly flipped out when he thought a woman snapped a photo of him and his entourage when they got into an altercation with another group at a batting cage at a Los Angeles family entertainment center.

The alleged victim says the pop star saw her reaching for her cell phone and demanded she hand it over, and when she refused, he reached into her purse and grabbed it.

The woman also claims the singer screamed at her and her thirteen-year-old daughter saying, "you're humiliating yourself in front of your daughter... why don't you just get out of here."

She says her daughter burst into tears.

Phone and email messages left with Bieber's attorney, Howard Weitzman, and publicist, Melissa Victor, weren't immediately returned.
