Escaped Central Texas fugitive added to most wanted list
A convicted sex offender last seen in Central Texas has been added to the US Marshal's top 15 most wanted list.
Authorities say on October 24 last year Kevin Patrick Stoeser escaped from the Austin Transitional Center in Del Valle.
He was serving a 13-year sentence for child sexual assault and possession of child pornography. He was about to be released in January early this year.
Authorities consider Stoeser a high-risk offender who could commit sexual crimes again. But it's unclear where Stoeser could be hiding out.
"We don't know where he's at, and that's where the top 15 program also illustrates. It highlights the fact that we don't know and that we're actually imploring the public to find Stoeser. We just don't know where he's at."
A $25,000 reward is being offered for Stoeser's capture.
