Killeen police officer dies after being shot while serving warrant

A Killeen police officer passed away after being shot in the line of duty early last week. Detective Chuck Dinwiddie was shot in the face while out serving an arrest warrant.
Officer Dinwiddie was an 18- year veteran of the Killeen Police Department.

Officer Odis Denton was shot in the femur... and he remains hospitalized.

Police say 49-year-old Marvin Louis Guy opened fire Friday as officers were trying to serve him an arrest warrant. Four officers total were reportedly shot. Two of those were treated and released.
Guy is being charged with three counts of attempted capital murder, and may face additional charges.
