(myFOXDetroit.com) - Protect your identity and the environment at the same time!
FOX 2 is teaming up once again with the Better Business Bureau for free document shredding, computer hardware & electronic device recycling, hard-drive destruction and cell phone collection.

Why should you shred your sensitive documents?

Identity theft now the fastest growing crime in the country.
Most identity theft is done through simple means of collecting papers thrown in the trash.
Recycling - for each ton of paper recycled = 26 trees & 7000 gallons of water are saved

Why should you recycle electronics?

Your electronics are filled with personal and financial information
This data should be properly removed in order to protect you from identity theft.
Identity theft now the fastest growing crime in the country.
Some electronics products contain materials such as lead and mercury - recycling can eliminate the amount of these materials in our landfills
