WEST CHESTER, Pa. -

According to the Department of Public Safety at West Chester University, they received a report of an indecent assault, which occurred at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the Frances Harvey Greene Library at West Chester University.

Campus Police say the female victim reported that shortly after arriving at the library, she observed a white male about 50-60 years old with a receding hair line, looking at her periodically from the bookshelves. She says she did not know the man.

The victim says the man was lurking around her, and then several minutes later, she began to feel something touch her leg. She says that the man's hand was on her left knee, approximately 3-4 inches above her knee.

According to the victim, when she yelled the man said “ Sorry, I was looking for an outlet.”

The suspect was seen on security cameras exiting the library in an unknown direction a short time after the alleged incident.

This report comes after sexual assaults were reported to Campus Police on March 30th, April 4th and April 19th.
