Marijuana Grow Operation Found in Wilmington Home

WILMINGTON, Del. -

Police have arrested two people for drug related offenses after officers found marijuana plants and weapons inside their Wilmington home.

On April 14, 2014 police responded to the 1400 block of Montgomery Road for a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, officers learned the suspect fled the residence and was possibly headed to a relative's house in the 1700 block of Montgomery Road. 

They searched the residence looking for the suspect involved in the domestic and located a small marijuana grow operation. 

Upon further investigation, officers were unable to locate the suspect involved in the domestic dispute. A search warrant was executed and officers located approximately three pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and five firearms.

The home owners, Darlene Grocki, 61, and Robert Grocki, 57, both received multiple related chargers.

Darlene Grocki was arraigned and committed to Delores J. Baylor Women's Correctional Institution in lieu of $39,800 secured bail.

Robert Grocki was arraigned and committed to Howard R. Young Correctional Institution in lieu of $39,800.
