Three people were arrested after two parents allegedly admitted to providing illegal drugs and alcohol to their underage children.

Yavapai County Sheriff's detectives were made aware of safety concerns and abuse allegations at a home in the 400 block of Rio Trail.

32-year-old Aaron Foster, 33-year-old Elizabeth Lawson and 21-year-old Jacob Owens were arrested at the home on April 5.

Foster is a level 2 registered sex offender and stepfather Lawson's four children, ages 13, 9, 7 and 5.

Owens is a family friend who was at the home when the warrant was served.

During a search of the home, YCSO say detectives found several marijuana and meth pipes in a bedroom where all four children sleep with their parents.

The home was reportedly very messy with trash, debris and clothes strewn everywhere.

YCSO says dog feces were found on the floor in the unused bedroom.

Foster allegedly admitted to deputies that he has a meth addiction and to both giving and smoking pot with his 13-year-old stepdaughter.

In addition, YCSO says the 9 and 7-year-old children told deputies they have smoked marijuana they got from Foster.

Lawson allegedly told detectives she's given alcohol to her 13-year-old daughter and knew Foster was giving pot to her children.

CPS has custody of all four children.

YCSO says Owens was found with a marijuana pipe and marijuana.

Several rounds of ammunition and two knives that YCSO say belong to Foster were seized and because he's had a felony conviction and is unable to possess the items, he will be charged for the violation.

Foster was charged with involving a minor in a drug offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, misconduct involving weapons and failing to comply with sex offender registration requirements. He is in custody on a $50,000 bond.

Lawson was charged with involving a minor in a drug offense and child abuse. She is in custody on a $7500 bond.

Owens was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and was released.
