A man was rushed to the hospital after emergency crews say his head was crushed by an elevator in downtown Austin.
It happened near 3rd and Congress in a building that's under construction.
They say the man's head got stuck in the elevator doors on the 8th floor of the building. He was freed from the elevator before crews got there.
They rushed him to UMC Brackenridge with life-threatening injuries.
No word on his condition.
EMS says the man was in his 30's.
