Lawsuit Claims West Babylon Nursing Home Hired Male Stripper

Posted: Updated:

The son of a former 86-year-old resident at a West Babylon nursing home has reportedly filed a lawsuit claiming that his mother was subjected to a performance by a male stripper.

The lawsuit claims that the alleged striptease happened at East Neck Nursing Center in West Babylon. The son says he was shocked when he went to visit his mother, Bernice Youngblood, and found a photo of her slipping dollar bills in the stripper's underwear. The photo also shows other residents from the home.

According to the lawsuit, when the family questioned the nursing home about the strippers, they were ignored. The son claims that when he confronted a nurse about the picture, she snatched it away.

The suit also says that the "vile" incident was for the "perverse pleasure and enjoyment" of the staff.

The nursing home's attorney says that the $250 strip show was paid for and approved by the residents.
