The NYPD says they have identified the suspects for the major security breach that had white flags replace the American flags at the Brooklyn Bridge, one of the most highly secured landmarks in New York City, according to the New York Post. Police say they only know the suspects by nicknames, not their legitimate names. They are working on getting their names in order to bring the suspects in for questioning. The Post says nearly three dozen detectives were on the case.

Those rumored changes to Twitter profiles aren't just rumors anymore.  Twitter is officially rolling out redesigned web profiles, and if you're on Facebook-- well, they might look familiar.  Many users have already caught onto the similarities, and some users who were really into the old Twitter profile look aren't loving it.

It's important to note that if you use Twitter on a mobile device, you won't see anything different.  The changes are ONLY for web profiles-- so if you visit someone else's (or your own) Twitter profile on the web, that's where you'll notice a difference once the changes are rolled out.

David Bellona, a designer for Twitter, published a blog explaining the new changes on Tuesday.  Bellona writes that the new features will make it "even easier (and, we think, more fun) to express yourself through a new and improved web profile."
