A California homeless shelter recently benefited from a "prank," that turned the shelter into a five-star restaurant. Break.com surprised 50 homeless people with an experience that they will never forget. When visitors of the Glendale, California shelter walked into the shelter's dining room they were treated with gift bags, fancy tables and an exquisite menu featuring filet mignon.
Many of the homeless visitors had never eaten at an upscale restaurant and were grateful for the experience. Visitors also received gift bags full of gift cards, and necessary products.
The "prank," is part of the #PrankitFWD campaign which features several positive April's Fools Day pranks. As part of the campaign Break.com will donate $1 to DoSomething.org for every 1,000 views of any #PrankitFWD video.
