Lada Gaga concerts mark Roseland's final nights

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Lady Gaga showed up at the Roseland Ballroom in typical Gaga style: wearing a headdress with red roses and netting and little else. Her ride was a matching vintage taxi cab. Fans greeted the birthday girl with a "Happy Birthday" serenade.

But Friday night's show was not just a regular concert for the pop star. It's the beginning of a farewell string of shows to this iconic venue. After 95 years of music, dancing and culture, the Roseland Ballroom will have its final curtain call on April 7.

The Roseland stage has hosted legions of musical greats dating back to 1919 with artists ranging from 50 Cent to Guns 'N' Roses.

It appears the subway bedbug problem we've been reporting is getting worse. Commuters already have to contend with sweltering platforms, scurrying rats and packed train cars, and now there's another transit woe: fear of bedbugs.
