Amber alert issued for missing Temple child

An Amber alert has been issued for a missing 2-year-old taken from the Temple, TX area.

Isaiah Corson is believed to be with 30-year-old Vincent Corson.

Isaiah was last seen wearing a black hoodie jacket, blue jeans and black shoes. The elder Corson was last seen wearing a black jacket and black jeans.

Temple police say a woman was shot in the arm and hip multiple times at around 6:45 a.m. this morning at the Greenbrier Park Apartments on South 13th Street. The 2-year-old child was believed to be in the woman's arms at the time of the shooting.

The victim was transported to Scott & White hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time.

Police say Mr. Corson, the victim's husband, is a suspect in the shooting.

Corson is described as:

  • African American
  • 5 feet 10 inches tall
  • Weighs 200 pounds

He is believed to be driving his wife's  2007 maroon Mazda sedan, with Texas license plat CCS 2279. Authorities say Corson should be considered armed and dangerous, and that if you see him, call 911.
