CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A little boy in Tucson, Arizona is credited with saving his mom after a vicious dog attack.

Laura Toone said she desperately needed paramedics after a foster dog she was caring for attacked one of her own dogs. When she tried to break up the fight, one of the dogs nearly bit her finger off.

Toone said her 4-year-old daughters knew how to call 9-1-1, but were scared of the blood all over her iPhone. That's when Bentley, 2, came to the rescue.

"Here comes my son from the kitchen bringing me our dishtowel," Toone said. "He came over and wiped off the blood himself and proceeded to call my friend on FaceTime."

Toone's friend said the two-year-old likes to FaceTime with her a lot, and was thankful to pick up this time.

The Toones said they have since taught all of their children about dialing 9-1-1, and instructed them to call in any dangerous circumstance.
