WOODSTOCK, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

Three men were arrested on drug charges last week following a month-long investigation into drugs being transported from Wisconsin to the northwest suburbs.

Harvard residents Matthew J. Roberts and Jasper D. Hanson, as well as Delavan, Wis., resident David R. Beall were arrested Feb. 27 following the investigation by the McHenry County Sheriff's Narcotics Task Force, the sheriff's office said in a statement.

The undercover investigation found drugs were brought from Wisconsin into McHenry County. Authorities ultimately seized more than 250 grams of cannabis and $525 in cash, the statement said.

Roberts, 26; Hanson, 27; and Beall, 29, were each charged with delivery of cannabis and possession of cannabis, the release said.

They were ordered held on $25,000 bonds each. Hanson and Beall have been released after posting 10 percent bail, police said.
