Japanese Chef Has Perfected The Art Of Miniaturized Sushi

Posted: Updated:

The Japanese bite-sized delicacy has been reborn into an even smaller, grain-sized meal.

The chef and creator, Hironori Ikeno, has spent 13 years perfecting his method of slicing and dicing classic sushi components into outstandingly petite dishes.

Ikeno claims each sushi takes about 5 minutes to make, and  five times the normal amount of time it takes to make a roll of sushi.

The Japanese master chef takes great consideration of his ingredients to prepare them to be manipulated into a miniature scale.

The pieces weigh less than one gram and are challenging since each ingredient reacts differently to both weather conditions and the serious consolidation.
