PONTIAC, Mich. -- A woman's mummified body has been found in the garage of a foreclosed home in Pontiac.

The Oakland County sheriff's office says an employee of a property management company stumbled upon the body in the rear seat of a vehicle while doing a walk-through Wednesday at the house on the 1600 block of Savanna Drive.

An autopsy was performed Thursday and found no trauma to the body. A cause of death has yet to be determined.

The body is believed to be that of 49-year-old Pira Farrenkopf whose last known address was at the home.

The license plate on the vehicle expired in 2008.

The contractors discovered the body when they came to the home to repair a hole in a roof that a neighbor reported.

Neighbors have told investigators that they haven't seen the woman who lived in the house and believed she moved away at least three years ago. They say the woman kept to herself and would often leave for weeks at a time.

Oakland Co. Undersheriff Michael McCabe says the woman was estranged from her family who lived on the east coast. The woman also had her bills payments deducted automatically.

"A local bank, so her house payment was made there, her cable bill her electric, her consumers, everything was paid by automatic deduction. Ultimately, there was about $54,000 in the account several years ago. Well it all whittled down and that's why the house went into foreclosure,"

According to the woman's resume found at the home, she last worked at ALLTEL Services at Daimler Chrysler in Southfield.

A severe case of black mold was also discovered inside the woman's home.
