Southeast Austin club shooting leaves one dead

Posted: Updated:

Austin Police are looking for someone they believe shot and killed a man at a Southeast Austin club early Saturday morning.
Police were called out around 1 am after a Hispanic man, about 30-years-old, was found dead of a gunshot wound inside Club Zota on the 4700 block of Burleson Road.
Austin PD tell us they didn't know if there was a struggle of any sort before the shooting.
"We don't know, it's too early to tell right now. As I said, this is the early part of the investigation and they're gonna gather all the facts," says Cpl. Wuthipong Tantaksinanukij, Austin Police Department.
Austin Police haven't released any details on the suspect but they confirm it is a homicide and they are looking for a shooter.
