PHOENIX (KSAZ) -

Residents of the Chimney Ranch Trailer Park say they know things are bad but they have no where else to go. Inspectors say raw sewage is leaking out of their trailers, exposed electrical wires already started one fire, and there is black mold inside. These trailer homes are falling apart.

"I wasn't ok with it in the beginning but I figured if it's going to keep me safe and my two sons safe... One is 2, one is 5, it was all I could afford and all I could get so take it, beggars can't be choosers," said Tammi Lynn Jamison.

"Everybody wants money for me to move, I don't have the money to move. I don't know, the only thing I can think of is go get a cardboard box and live under a bridge until the 3rd of March," said Jamison.

Many residents had problems with their sewer systems leaking, "A lot of raw sewage everybody said it was going to be fixed and then all of a sudden the county shut us down. We have no where to go and no money to go. A lot of these families have nothing and nobody," said Livingston.

"Everytime we take a shower there's a puddle outside our house. My husband got shocked by showing the county where our electrical outlets work and do not work," said Livingston.

Livingston said that her family has no where else to go, "We're going to be living in our car just like a lot of these other families out here, we have no where to go," she said.

The manager of the Chimney Ranch Trailer Park, Matt Matejka, said that they have plans to re-open. "it is our full intention to bring the park up to code and reopen the park."

FOX 10 asked Matejka why they are letting people into the park and taking their money when it's clear on the condition of the homes, "I understand your question, there's nothing sold here without full disclosure," he said.

When Matejka was asked about Jamison's trailer, he declined comment, "well I don't know what tenant your talking about and so I'm not really able to make a comment on that," he said.
