Detectives in Williamson County say they were able to make an arrest in a Halloween bank robbery after setting a trap on the internet.
Jesse Gamboa was arrested and accused of being the costume bandit who robbed the Schwertner State Bank October 31st.
Investigators say when Gamboa was arrested they recovered the stolen money and a gun that may have been used during the hold up.
The break in the case came when detectives set up a website about the hold up and Gamboa allegedly was one of the few people who visited the site.
His IP address provided investigators his phone number and with that they were able to track his cellphone activity on the day of the robbery.
According to court records, he was tracked from his home in Fort Worth to a cell tower near the bank a few minutes before it was robbed.
Jesse Gamboa was on parole after serving time for a 1986 bank robbery in Dallas.
