A drug dog with the Fayette County Sheriff's Office helped find 35 pounds of marijuana hidden in a seat in a truck Tuesday.

The dog, Lobos, was called to assist a state trooper that had stopped a truck on I-10 following a traffic violation.

The trooper said the driver showed many indicators of criminal activity and consented to a search of the vehicle.

During the search a fabricated compartment was found in the rear seat. Inside the compartment officers found 35 pounds of marijuana.
