Different causes of death determined for man, woman found in West Pullman home

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A man and woman who were found dead early Monday inside their West Pullman neighborhood home on the Far South Side died of different causes, an autopsy Tuesday found.

Haristien Lacy, 86, and Veronica Lacy, 55, were both found unresponsive inside their home about 4 a.m. in the 11500 block of South Ada Street, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

Haristien Lacy died of coronary artherosclerosis and his death was ruled natural, according to the medical examiner's office. Veronica Lacy's cause of death was inconclusive pending toxicologic studies.

Area South detectives are conducting a death investigation.
