Out enjoying the weather this morning were hundreds of human gorillas running for a good cause. It was all part of the 4th annual Austin gorilla run. 750 participants packed the Urban Village at the Mueller in full costume. The first place winner finished the 5-k run in 17 minutes. This year's race raised over 35-thousand dollars in support of the mountain gorilla conservation fund, a non-profit that provides the endangered animal with veterinary services. When the project first started, there were only 248 mountain gorillas left in the world, today there is approximately 880.
