Austin police are looking for two armed robbers. APD describes the two as "desperate and willing to do anything."
The Arboretum is normally one of the safer parts of Austin and that's why police are calling Saturday's four armed robberies a "high profile series of crimes."
Investigators say it took the two men less than an hour to hit these four targets. Police say the suspects were wearing ski masks when they threatened each of their victims at gunpoint for cash.
At 8:54 p.m. Saturday night, APD says the two African American men held up a Pizza Hut employee with a gun, demanding money from the register.
A little further down Research Boulevard, at 9:24 p.m., investigators say the two men robbed the J. Lee's Day Spa in the Balcones Woods Shopping Center.
At 9:31 p.m. two cab drivers tell investigators they were approached by the suspects in the Renaissance Hotel parking lot for cash.
According to police, the last victim is a Mr. Gattis delivery driver who was robbed at the Tramor at the Hills Apartments.
The two suspects are described as African American men in their late teens or early 20s, with skinny builds. One suspect is believed to be between 5' 4" and 5' 6" and the other about 5 feet 10 inches tall.
None of the victims were injured during the robberies. If you have any information about the suspects and robberies that took place on Saturday, please call APD.
