The 2014 Charity Preview at the North American International Auto Show is underway!

The cars on display at Cobo Hall provide a spectacular backdrop for this black-tie event. The night is always filled with fashion, food, music and, of course, the best metal in the Motor City.

The event runs from 6-9 p.m.

Proceeds directly benefit a wide range of children's charities. Scott LaRiche, vice chairman of the 2014 NAIAS, says Friday night's event raised $4.5 million making the grand total raised for charity, since 1989, more than $95 million.

For more information on Charity Preview call 888.838.7500.

The auto show opens to the public Saturday, Jan. 18 and runs through Jan. 26.
