Bomb squad, hazmat called to women's health clinic

Posted: Updated:

Whole Women's Health Clinic staff arrived Wednesday morning to find two Manila envelopes taped to two of the clinic's doors.

Austin Police received a call from the clinic about the envelopes around 7:30 am. Police say as a precaution and given the sensitivity of what the clinic does the call was made to bring in the department's bomb squad and AFD's hazmat team.

An officer on the scene told FOX 7 that the following was written on both envelopes.

"Whole Women's Health Clinic Emergency Court Documents present to manager immediately."

Police say the clinic's San Antonio office received the same envelopes and inside were court documents.
