ATLANTA, Ga. -

Dr. Ian Smith visited Good Day Atlanta on Thursday morning to discuss his new and improved diet, Super Shred.

The author of popular diet, Shred, has designed a four-week supercharged weight loss plan that combines the themes: foundation, accelerate, shape and tenacious to help your weight-loss goals become a reality.

The Shed became a national phenomenon when Dr. Ian shared the diet with a group of followers on his Twitter account. Local "shredders" began to form groups and the "The Shred Movement" started to take form.

Dr. Smith markets Super Shred as a destination diet says it's for the "goal-oriented person who wants faster, more dramatic results right away, and for those who have a specific target they need to reach by a certain date - a beach vacation, a reunion, a wedding, or a doctor's orders to lose weight quickly for health reasons."

Some people lose up to twenty pounds in a months time; sound good right? If so, you can get involved with the Super Shred movement at a local level -- right here in Atlanta.
