CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Crain's Chicago Business is reporting that athletic gear and shoe retailer Puma SE will close its store in the Block 37 mall in the Loop.

Additionally, Crain's reports that Eddie Bauer LLC will close its flagship store at 600 N. Michigan.

Puma's State Street store was already empty on Monday morning, Crain's wrote.

Cain's said it first reported that Puma was considering closing its two-floor store back in April as a part of a new focus on emerging markets.

Representatives for Puma nor Eddie Bauer could be reached, Crain's said.

Crain's credited WLS-TV/Channel 7 as first reporting Eddie Bauer's planned to close its outlet at 600 N. Michigan.
