Someone in a car opened fire on two men in another car. One man was killed. The man sitting next to the deceased victim was wounded. The car that was shot up crashed through a catch fence along the freeway and began heading east in the westbound lanes. Detroit police responded quickly and saw the victim's car going the wrong way on I-96. Many witnesses also told police they saw the entire wild mid-day shooting scene.

The shooter's car is described as a black Lexus or Audi with silver trim. When police safely stopped the victim's car on I-96 the wounded man was rushed to Sinai Grace Hospital. His condition is not known. The expressway was closed while the Medical Examiner preserved evidence and recovered the body of the deceased victim.

Anyone with information should call Detroit police.
