Icy weather has caused major delays and plenty of flight cancellations for people looking to travel this holiday season.
People trying to get to or come back home from the Dallas-Fort Worth- area are still experiencing problems, but it's definitely an improvement from this weekend.
Reps with the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport say a total of 14 flights have been canceled Monday, an even split for departures and arrivals from the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
On Saturday, the airport says at least 15 flights were canceled because of weather, specifically ice. On Friday, when the winter storm hit, ABIA had 33 canceled flights.
The best advice they can give travelers is to check their flight status before heading to the airport. But even for some, it's still didn't help and they're stuck in the airport.
ABIA sees 268 flights a day. There are some flights departing to DFW this Monday that are on time.
