The event celebrates the arrival of the holiday season and includes the lighting of the Capitol tree. There was a programmed light show at the top and bottom of every hour, set to holiday songs by Austin musicians. Along Congress, shops, restaurants and museums kept their doors open late The event also featured holiday cartoons at the Paramount, a photo booth with Santa and a holiday farmer's market.
