WASHINGTON, DC -

Ambassador Ebrahim Rasool of the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa will hold a press conference to announce the plans to celebrate the life, legacy and values of Nelson Mandela on Friday at 1:30 p.m.

The event will take place at the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa located at 3051 Massachusetts Avenue in Northwest in Washington D.C.

The conference will take place during the 10-day mourning period that began on Thursday when Mandela died.
