Police seek help in identifying drowning victim

Austin police are seeking the public's help in identifying a man who was swept away in a branch of Walnut Creek last month.

Police released this photo of what the man may have looked like before his death. Police say he is a white man, between 42 and 50 years old. He is 5'8" tall and weighs 163 pounds. He has hazel eyes and short brown hair and was wearing a blue sweater when he was swept under the water in the creek on November 22.
