New Study Sheds Light On Love Hormone

Posted: Updated:

A so-called "cuddle hormone" could hold the secret to looking more beautiful, at least in the eyes of those who love you!

A study by German researchers found that a whiff of the hormone Oxytocin made men find their partners more attractive! The hormone did not work with colleagues or strangers.

This hormone is released primarily through physical touch, especially when we hug or kiss, and researchers think it's the key to monogamy.

Oxytocin is also released during childbirth and breastfeeding to help mothers bond with their babies.

This study was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
