Murphy admitted she cut Van Gough's ears off last month.
The dog has since been adopted and will help teach children about animal abuse.
Doctor Johnson from the Stony Creek Vet Center in Morton, is the one who adopted Van Gough.
She says the 12 week old dog is recovering and he's already started behavior training that will prepare him for his visits to schools.
