New Study Sheds Light On Why We Hate Veggies As Kids

Parents struggling to get their kids to eat vegetables, listen up! You may be fighting a losing battle!

According to a new study, children avoid vegetables because of evolution.

Researchers at Yale University say that a survival instinct, leftover from our days in the wild, tells children to avoid plants because they could be poisonous.

However, the behavior changes once kids are shown a plant or vegetable is safe to eat.

This study looked at 47 eight to 18-month-old children. Kids were shown two real plants, two fake plants and two other objects. All the children were very reluctant to touch the plants.
