PHOENIX -

A teen's death remains a mystery.  He was shot in a supermarket parking lot and later died from his wounds.  Now the victim's family is speaking out in hopes of solving the crime.

Glendale Police don't know who did and they don't know why it happened.  They're answers everyone is looking for, but police now need help from the public in hopes of bringing justice to the boy's family.

Jesus Enriquez was shot Saturday night and police believe there were at least two people there that may have seen it happen -- and those two men were caught on surveillance camera video leaving the scene.  Authorities are now calling them persons of interest.

"He didn't make it through the third surgery. His heart stopped again.. passed away."

This woman didn't want to be identified.  She's a relative of the 16-year-old victim.

The shooting happened at a Fry's parking lot at 43rd Avenue and Northern around 11:15 p.m.

Police have released surveillance pictures of a dark colored 4 door sedan.  They believe the two men inside may have information about what happened that night.

The victim's family is hoping someone saw something.

"Mixed emotions, sadness, angry.. we don't know who did this to him, why they would do this to him."

Police don't have any suspects or motive at this time and are asking the public for help.

Enriquez's family members are now forced to wait for answers as they say goodbye to their loved one.

"He wasn't a bad kid in my eyes.. he was just a teenager that wanted to grow up fast."

If you have any information that could help solve this crime, you are urged to call the Glendale Police at (623) 930-3000 or Silent Witness at (480) WITNESS.
