Remembering loved ones killed by illegal immigrants

PHOENIX - People in more than 20 states all gathered Sunday to remember loved ones who were killed by people living in the United States illegally.

For the past three years, The Remembrance Project has been bringing people together to remember their loved ones.

"I want them to know that we care that there are a lot of us out here and those that have lost families, we really feel for you and we don't want it to happen anymore.. one is enough," said Valerie Roller, an organizer.

"Every day Americans are being permanently separated from their families through no fault of their own," said Maria Espinoza, founder of The Remembrance Project.  "It is time politicians 'represent' Americans or admit they cannot fulfill the job they promised to do and resign."
